Myths Dispelled

You can't win with the antiquated ball control style of play you must have your qb slinging it around to win in todays league.
Well most teams don't have our defense.

I've been watching Drew Brees since I was 10 years old and he was Purdue's QB - and I have never seen him that flustered.

Huge props to our interior guys, DLaw, and that bonehead Randy Gregory for making his life difficult last night.
Great game by our D and a really out of synch game by their O. Both related but not entirely.
Just like the Titans clobbering us a few weeks ago and scoring 28, us beating the saints and holding them to 10 was also an anomaly.

Real nice win in any case

1. You gotta score 30 points to win. Yeah.

2. D doesn't matter any more.

3. RB's have little to no value.

4. Pressure doesn't affect good/great QB's.

Anything else?

5. Dak sucks
6. coaching doesn't matter
7. Byron Jones is NOT for real
8. The Oline was NOT the biggest problem with the Dallas offense.

It's all about pressure and disruption. As a Penn State grad, I used to see him while at Purdue. PSU never lost to Drew, mostly because they employed a defense that put a lot of pressure on Drew and their passing game. It's certainly not rocket science, but it does help to have the personnel on D.
