When the Giants went to the no huddle against Dallas they had pretty good success throwing to the backs after they released. The Cowboy linebackers were so far back from the line of scrimmage in coverage it allowed Tiki to use his moves in space to make big yards. You can bet New Orleans will do the same with Bush.

They'll also probably try and attack the sidelines with short passes to. When Dallas uses their OLB's to rush the passer it opens up the flats for quick dumpoffs. The Giants were getting 8 to 9 yards a pop with those routes. And the Saints have a very dangerous guy for those type routes.

I think the Cowboys better plan on scoring alot of points in this one. Take the over!

That's the problem with the defense we've palyed since preseason.

It's not a problem if they just tackle.

they tried throwing to mr. all-world-can-do-anything-the-next-barry-sanders-and-gale-sayers-in-one-over-hyped-dogg-crap player when we faced them in the pre-season and it was still not able to work, so it still wont work now

I was waiting for someone to start this thread LOL

Yeah... gotta wonder about the Saints trying to use the Tiki blueprint.... when Tiki rips off yards against us... it is one of the most frustrating things.... Bush is much faster... so it is a concern....

I think we have to force them to beat us in the air....

Reggie Bush was good against the down and out 49ers at home, can he juke DeMarcus Ware and Terence Newman and Roy Williams? Me thinks only by accident. Watch him rush for 50 yards and catch three passes for about 16. No scores.

I will be delighted when the much maligned Julius Jones runs for 130 yards, scores twice and kills the Saints with screen passes.

You seriously DONT think he can juke any of our defenders... really?

BP will have someone on Bush being he'll be a WR mostly for them.

They will run heavier with Deuce and teams don't run well on us except Tiki who is above Deuce and Bush, no questions.

Bush doesn't have that vision yet.

If you watched the 49ers game, Bush, when facing a defender, dove at the turf a lot, a la Marvin Harrison.

He avoids contact unless there is a seam to hit.

I think he will be contained and silenced just like in the preseason. Plus If Brees can't get him a ball except when he's being swarmed from behind the LOS then no, in the open field is when he's dangerous. Dallas won't give him such opportunities, Ware will hammer him.

I think (hope) the Cowboys defense is going to look a lot different vs. the Saints than it did against the Giants. For one, they weren't covering the RB underneath, or in the flat, and you just can't do that against the Saints. It great that the LBs are getting great depth on thier zone coverages, but somebody's got to have responsibility for the backs coming out of the backfield.

Also, the DL was doing a great job of maintaining rush lane discipline. Their lane discipline was a lot better than their rush, anyway. I think the whole strategy was a) shut down the run b) keep everything in front of you in pass defense, and the Giants would eventually screw up and give the ball back. And when you think about it, we did force 2 FGs when they were in the redzone, and we took it away on 4th down, so you could argue that the strategy did its job well enough.

But you need a new strategy with the Saints. My advice is to go back and watch how the Broncos beat Drew Brees 6 out of 8 the past 4 years. It looked to me like they were taking away the inside and the deep middle and forcing Brees to make throws he can't make, deep outs, corners, etc.

You are right, NO will look at the films from the Giants game but that doesn't mean much. San Fransisco did look at the films from the cincinati game against NO, but it couldn't duplicate that. Each game in many ways is unique because of the different players you put in. Not all NO O-Line is the same as the Giants. Also, we will be playing at home, that makes a differece too.

The Saints have been a very successful offense in their own right more so than the giants. I expect the Saints to do what they do best.

I just dont see how people can keep throwing this word around.

SaintsFanMan here. What makes you guys think that the Big Tuna won't make that adjustment on Bush. Everybody else has. Your real trouble is going to be stopping Deuce McAllister.

Reggie Bush is the $60 Million Dollar decoy!!!

After the leagues questionable suspension of Hollis Thomas, what makes you think Dallas won't have the Refs in their back pocket too. Sad to say... Dallas will win this one 31-17.

Do you really think RBs Reggie and Deuce measure up to Tikki Barber?

I'm under no illusion that Julius and Marion do.

saintsfanman, you really think we would have to buy the refs to beat the saints?

I expect Dallas to be more aggressive against NO than they were against the Giants. They were less aggressive against the Giants than the have been against anyone lately.

Agreed. Plus... I am sure the Saints and Bush have gotten better since then.
