This is the first movement on Palmer that has been reported since he was fired in Houston... Wonder if this will make Parcells move faster on signing him IF that's the guy he wants...I am still holding out hope for Dan Henning (Panthers O/C).

No, you cant resign an offensive coordinator like Dan Hennings to move from one spot to another, like say to Dallas, the NFL wont allow you to do that, you have to make him a promotion.

Fuhget about it. Parcells is going to go internal and promote someone or my name isn't P. Diddy Combs.

I hope the Jets get that guy for their OC. I was not at all impressed with the job he did in Houston. Payton got much better results with an equally porous offensive line.

pretty sure there is no "interview" needed for BP. He knows Palmer very well -- he mentored him for several years. You know, folks I've mentored, they keep in touch, I talk to them all the time, we are friends. If I had a job to offer them, I'd need no interview -- but I'd expect them to pursue other options and find the best situation for themselves, regardless of whether it was with me or not.

Palmer is seeing what's up - if BP wants him and he wants to be in Dallas, none of the other positions matter.

If his contract is up you can hire him to whateevr he'll accept.

If he is under contract then it has to be a promotion.

The only move that a team cant block is a staff assistant (usually and Off. or Def. Coordinator) going to a head coach spot.
