I remember pop rocks & 7 up was the killer recipe. Even as a kid I thought it was bunk.

Tostadas at Taco Bell. And I mean the original style from back in the day.
Heck, just give me the Taco Bell from back then before it became a Soylant Green factory. All I can eat from that place is just plain hard tacos.
The rest of the menu is like: "Try our new 7-layer, Dorito encrusted, volcano cheese smothered, baked lasagna crunch wrap!".
It's out of control.

The Hotter N Hot Jalapeno chips from Zapp's, while they still offer that flavor they completely changed the recipe. Now it's primarily a powdered seasoning, a lot saltier and has a different taste, before it wasn't as heavily powdered, don't know if they used an oil or liquid based seasoning, but it had a better and more natural jalapeno taste.

How about Burger King bringing back the hot dogs? about 50 years ago I used to ask them to put the hot dogs on the grill with the burgers . Then I would put ketchup and fries on the hot dog in the bun. It was so good after a few beers.

Good one. They were cheap too. That was my ‘go to‘ high school lunch when off campus.

Tostadas from Taco Casa are much like Taco Bell's original Tostadas, only better IMHO and I loved Taco Bell's Tostadas.

I maybe the only one who remember these because it helped me thru college.

It was the Caprisun in a 2 liter. For those that can remember, Caprisun was a lot sweeter than it is now. That 2 liter was cheep and always on sale at a grocery store compared to other drinks.

The Ground Round. They had $1 schooners. A 22 oz. glass of beer for a buck. Couldn't beat that. They also had $1 a dozen wings for Monday night football.

Roy Rogers fried chicken. Are those restaurants still around? I lived on that garbage in college.

They are littered around Pennsylvania and has a decent breakfast. The creamed chip beef over biscuits is great

Back when I was a kid, long before Buffalo chicken wings were a thing or different chicken wings in general were a thing, Long John Silver's sold Chicken Peg Legs. They were the drummie part of the wing, battered in their crunchy tempura like batter, served with FF on a bed of their crispy crunchies. I remember thinking as a kid, why don't more people serve them this way, they were great. Chicken wings, in general, weren't very popular back then and never found them disjointed in pieces like that either., those Peglegs were before their time.

I used to kinda like their roast beef sandwich, but I only had the chicken once, because there was literally 3/4" to 1" of grease in the bottom of the bucket.

Street Taco Doritos, Smurf Berry Crunch, Donkey Kong Cereal.
Something about cereal. The single man’s go to fast food. Easy to make, fills you up, and always tastes good. There’s a lot of flavors that have gone the way of the dodo bird that I used to enjoy. Was reading this link and it reminded me of some, One that I hadn’t thought of in a long time were those Banana Frosted Flakes.
