Ok... Romo is limping throughout a game... in fact, he had a bad knee going into the game... after a 14-0 lead, he is looking REALLY gimpy... but he wants to stay in, and our head coach, Jason Garrett, decides to keep him in. Later in the game, Romo goes down... and though it is unconfirmed at this point, it looks like he may have torn is ACL and PCL, and might miss next season.

Tell me what the "thread lines" in THE ZONE look like today?

Because everyone knows Mike Shanahan is a genius right?

Some are reporting out of Washington that RG3 has torn his ACL and PCL and might miss 14-18 months. My point is how Garrett gets bashed for decisions that can easily be argued either way, and Shanahan continued to play a guy who was obviously on a bad wheel. Not just any guy, THEIR YOUNG FRANCHISE GUY.

I'd say one of two things would be transpiring.

1. The boards would be calling for Garrett's head along with Jerry's. So not much difference.

2. They lock the place until June.

#2 is exactly right.

**Bash Garrett Thread Here**
**Bash Jerry Thread Here**
**Bash Medical Staff Here**
**Bash Romo here**
**Bash some other person here**

And in every one someone would be posting... "Why can't I start a new thread?"

I'll give it a go!

"Cowboys Idiot Coach allowed Romo to stay in game after he had a fractured rib in the 2nd quarter. Instead of diffusing the situation by calling hot reads to counter the blitz, the idiot continued on with his gameplan."

Excellent! See, this is exactly what I mean! How bout this... how bout Garrett ends up so involved with an apparent bounty scheme that he and Rob both get suspended (Jason just gets a year)... and we LOSE PLAYERS TOO!!!

No way anyone on this forum would think a coach like that is a genius...

NAAAAAAWWWWWWWW.... We are WAY too smart for coaches like that ;)

Red Ball keeps injured Romo in game--doesn't know how to handle NFL players.

Yes... and remember Red Ball can be substituted for at your desire...

Just think of it like different colored cases for your iphone.

Let's see...

Red Ball keeps
Red Headed Genius keeps
Ginger keeps
Princeton grad keeps
RJ keeps

What are some others? I forget them all. Oh the angst!

We are temporarily experiencing a higher call volume than normal, due to the red-headed step child's mis-management of his players, please stay on the line and the next available representative will be with you shortly.

Couldn't playing an injured one armed Ware be just as bad?
What if his shoulder and elbow (that they knew needed surgery)
was injured more severely during the Skins game?

Same thing. You are in a do or die, you play your best players.
No one complained when Emmitt beat the Giants with a separated shoulder,
no one was complaining that he could have been ruined for good.
Just another attempt to make Garrett a world beater.

I think you missed my point. My point is not that Shanahan is wrong. I don't know that he was (though I do think it is a bit different with a 1st year, franchise QB, and A KNEE INJURY)... I used "genius" because that is how some on this board view anyone but Garrett.. but that is an aside...

My point is that no way you would cut Garrett the slack you just cut Shanahan... well, maybe you would, but I can GUARANTEE a HUGE portion of this forum wouldn't. It would be fires and Garrett being hung in effigy
