Name that safety

Pretty sure A is Vaccaro. It should also be noted that Vaccaro was suffering from cramps leading up to running his 40 yard dash so his time is not what it should be. If/when he runs at his pro day he will improve that time. He's still the best Safety in this draft imo.

Player A is Byrd
Player B is Taylor Mays
Player C is Vcarro

There are always excuses for players from Texas for their average college career etc.

And somehow Brian Robison, Leonard Davis, Brian Orakpo, Michael Huff, Henry Melton, Derrick Johnson, Shaun Rogers, Sam Acho, Jermichael Finley, Cory Redding, Jamaal Charles, Lamarr Houston, Casey Hampton, Quentin Jammer and the Griffin brothers are all managing despite what those excuses must have been hiding.

How about Player D:

4.69 40 yard dash; 4.17 20 yard shuttle, Vertical 36; 19 reps bench, 6.65 3 cone drill

Player E:

4.52 40 yard dash; 4.07 20 yard shuttle, Vertical 38; 18 reps bench; 6.84 3 cone drill

Since no one is taking the bait, player D is Barry Church and player E is Matt Johnson (from his Pro Day).

Kenny Vaccaro plays faster than his 4.62 indicates. I bet he runs better at his pro day. Remember Joe Hayden ran a 4.5 or 4.6 at the combine then ran in the 4.3's at his pro day. I am not saying Vaccaro is going to run a 4.3 but I bet he gets a sub 4.5 at his pro day.

everyone bashed Vcarro about his 40 but you all would take Jarius Byrd now.

Not saying Vcarro is the next Byrd but you can't go off of just good combine numbers, if you did Mays would be a pro bowler.
Anyway, Vaccarro will have a better 40 time at his pro day. He had major leg cramps before he ran at the combine.....or at least that is what Charles Davis said on the ESPN Dallas radio yesterday.

I have no idea how much better his time will be but it will most likely be better. My guess is he'll be much closer to 4.5

Byrd has a 10-yard time of 1.53 which is very good. His 3-cone and short-shuttle are also very good.

He didn't run at the combine due to a groin injury. His forty time is from his Pro Day which was 3-weeks later. It's possible that he was not 100% at the Pro Day.

I bashed Vacarro before he ran the 40, cuz he's not a good football player.

His 40 time has nothing to do with it.

Xavier rhodes should be in the mix if we think he can play safety,he is certainly big enough.

Same with Vcarro, Vcarro had a very good 10 yard time and a amazing 20 yard and good 3 cone
