Narrowing down options

Here is what I am thinking....we know the following:

These players will be off the board by 17:

• The Cowboys aren't drafting a QB in the first round....I am pretty sure.
• We are not going to be able to draft Chase Young unless we move up and give up a lot!
• We probably will not get Jeff Okudah either.
• We are probably not going to be drafting an offensive lineman.
• Isaiah Simmons will be off the board as well.
• I have seen one mock draft in which Derrick Brown falls to 17....so probably not likely.
• We know that 2 or maybe 3 of the WR's will be off the board, but maybe not....might depend on the run on QB's.

Likely ALL Drafted before 17:
3 QB's gone: Burrow, Tua, Herbert
2 DL's gone: Young and Brown
1 CB gone: Okudah
1 LB gone: Simmons
2 WR gone probably 3: Jeudy, Lamb, Ruggs
3 OL gone maybe 4: Wirfs, Wills, Thomas, Becton


Probable/likely/maybe gone: Kinlaw, Henderson

Who remains and who do we draft and who do we want the most?

I am seeing some big boards that are dropping Becton a lot. I can't say I agree with him falling out of the 1st round, but he may be there at 17 now. He is purely a tackle, unlike Wirfs who could start out inside like La'El Collins did. Maybe Becton falling to Dallas allows them to make a good trade back. Lot's of teams want dependable left tackles.

Increasingly it appears that Kinlaw might be there because of knee concerns because teams may nit have been able to clear him medically but it might be a risk

YGM is another option

To me, the best option appears to be a trade down between 20-25

There are always one of two reaches that come out of the blue in the top 15 and there is a decent shot that someone takes Love as well.

There should be a good shot of someone falling to Dallas at 17. That seems more likely than Chaisson being their only real option on the board in my opinion.

Don't assume we won't take an OL.
A very good one can drop and I have no problem taking him.

Kinlaw feels like such a Cowboys pick. Immense athletic upside coupled with medical red flags that the team is usually happy to ignore.

If he's gone, or his knee is screwed up and he drops further than we all think, I think Chaisson is the next most Will McClay pick. Kenneth Murray feels like a Cowboys player too, but the need is of course debatable.

If we have to go corner, I think we go Terrell or Diggs. This team usually doesn't get cute and reach though, and I don't see a corner who will be there who's worth #17. Likewise, Ruiz would be an uncharacteristic reach there.

i love Delpit more than others but i didnt include him because its been radio silence about him and us....which might indicate he's the one

The tackling is a huge concern, but if he can fix that I agree you have an all-pro FS.

I'd imagine we'd take a Kinlaw or Dline over Oline at 17 even if a tackle drops.
If we take a Tackle in the first then he'd be behind tyron smith and collins.
If we take Oline it's a probably a trade down to get ruiz. IMO

Couple things I'm reading .......

The Falcons, whose drafting at 16, are strongly targeting two players ( Chaisson and Henderson ) of Cowboys interest.

The 49ers are offering both their 1st round picks ( 13 and 31 ) in trade downs for more draft capital.
