What do you use when you have nasty cough and your chest have loose mucas? Man I feel like death right now.

Tell what has worked for in the past.

TIA

Shaklee chewable vitamin C. This product will knock out the nastiest cold in a couple of days. I have been using it for over 20 years and it has never failed.

Might want to try an expectorant of some type. You'll get all the mucus loose so you can cough it up and get it out. That will help considerably. Then go to a cough suppressant at night so you can catch a few winks.

You have swine flu. Get inside an oven and put it on broil. This should resolve your issues. ;)

I was sick last week and after seeing this graphic I know for sure it wasn't swine flu. I never lost my appetite.

I was sick as a dog last week too. First time I've went to the doctor in at least 6-7 years. I didn't lose my appetite either. I was eating more than normal during that time. The doc gave me these freaking antibiotic horse pills and codeine cough syrupy. Antibiotics can work wonders. I was really ****ed up there for several days.

Everyone is different, so I can't say what for who, but I've found everything to be pretty much placebo, with the exception of constantly sucking on lozenges that hurt my teeth, but at least lessen the soreness of my throat.

Cough syrups don't do anything really beyond a couple minutes of coating the throat.

These things have to work through your system and get out after a few days, there is no cure besides time. Drink a lot of water and tea to keep hydrated and somewhat warm and make sure you're not starving yourself.

Best way to get all that mucus out is heat and steam. Take a hot shower and run the water directly on your chest and it'll start breaking up some. You can also boil some water in a pot, pour a little into a cup and brew some tea, then take the rest in the pot and set it on your table. Throw a towel over your head, so that it drapes down over the pot too and just breath in all of the steam. It works wonders.

Fur ball? Yeah they suck. Try hacking it up that seems to do the trick :laugh2:

Just kidding Vicks vapor rub does the trick for me.
