Nate Livings to IR

Livings should be heading to the unemployment line, that's where he belongs...

Well is salary was guaranteed regardless and rumor is he just didn't care and looked disinterested. So if any of that's true screw him let him waste his career on the IR. JMO

I had an issue with Dallas signing him last year. Waste of money.

Callahan should be held accounting for fooling Jerry into acquiring Bernie and Livings, these two are so terrible FA acquisitions.

The Dallas Cowboys will place offensive guard Nate Livings on the injured reserve, the team announced.

Livings has not practiced since undergoing arthroscopic surgery on his right knee on Aug. 2, his second such operation since last season. Owner/general manager Jerry Jones has said that Livings, whose $1.7 million salary is guaranteed, has a degenerative condition in the knee.

Livings started all 16 games last season, his first with the Cowboys after signing a five-year, $18.7 million deal in free agency, but the team entered training camp looking to replace him in the starting lineup.

Yeah, he'll be cut next year for certain, along with Bernadeau. At least we'll be able to move on from that mistake. I still wish we could see some accountability on that mistake.

We'll draft a guard early next year to be certain.

Well Jerry is the one that has to pay him for not playing. There is some accountability in that.

I'd expect Jerry to fire someone over that, but who knows. Like I said, we can move on now, and actually make the offensive line a priority. If Free can return to form, it will put a lot less pressure on the front office. They'll need to get at least one guard, also assuming Leary plays to form.

We can be a really nasty team next year.

Sweet. I am glad he was the solution last year. Great signing.

We'll be better this year than next year on paper.

Well, at least we won't have to watch him stink this year.
