I agree as well ..... and every sports announcer would have called him a classless child for doing it.

Oh well ..... it has taught me a lesson on what I will believe from the Media.

Yes, ESPN and Skip gayless would have been allover T.O., or any Cowboy for that matter, if they would have said anything like Kitna said.

Or if TO would have said what their WR (Furrey?) said last year... he would have been ridiculed for weeks.

Oh well... the media is always about a year behind. If TO continues to play the good soldier, then this time next year, maybe they'll cut him a little slack.

I doubt it though.

I can't really remember SP... but I do remember getting pissed when I heard it and thinking "Who the hell is he?"

Maybe it was something about how he knew where everyone was going to be and something about B. James?

It was uneccessarily harsh about our defense though.

I'll try to dig it up and maybe someone else can remember what he said.

I'm glad Kitna made those comments last year. I think it helped to expedite the departure of one Bill Parcells, which was the best thing to happen to this team.

Here ya go, SP:

"I think you're going to see Seattle come out with three wides and spread them out a little bit,'' Furrey said of Saturday's first round matchup. "You've got Shaun Alexnader up there, so they're going to be able to run the ball. They're not going to be able to close the defense enough. I think they (the Seahawks) are going to be able to ...'' Furrey paused. Maybe he sensed Detroit's season-high 39 points were indictment enough and anything else he said would be piling on.

"Dallas has a great team, though,'' Furrey said.

Then

"We knew that they leave the middle open a little bit,'' said Furrey, who caught 11 passes for 102 yards and a touchdown. "There are some catches to be made in there. That's their normal defense to leave four deep all the way across.

"And we knew we would be able to take advantage on the outside because they never switch off routes.''

Not as bad as I remember it... but I do think I read in a different article than the one I found that his tone was pretty sarcastic when he said "Dallas has a great team, though."

He basically was saying Seattle would kick our arse, if I remember the tone of it all correctly.

He also threw the football at one of the stars on the wall at Texas Stadium, breaking it. Plus, didn't he like hurl the ball real hard, straight at the handicapped section or something?

I don't know... but we need to break him in half, just in case.
