Nate Newton - Offensive Tackles for the Vikings are out of shape

He said he has watched Minnesota, in particular the Offensive Tackles for the Vikings.

Nate Newton feels that if Brett Favre and Minnesota come out throwing, the linebackers for the Cowboys are going to have a field day.

I sure hope they're right, I don't know that much about the personnel of the Vikings beyond the highlight reelers.

But I think it is above conjecture to say the Eagles had better tackles than the Vikes, we shall see.

Bryant McKinnie has to be one of the most overrated players in football. How he made it to the Pro Bowl is mindblowing. He plays so fat and disinterested. Did anyone see him against Julius Peppers a few weeks ago? In the first half he gave up 1 sack, at least two or three holding calls where he just basically had to reach out and tackle Peppers and who knows how many pressures. The Vikings had to bench him in the 3rd quarter he was getting beaten so badly and replace him with Artis Hicks. Aaron Schatz from FootballOutsiders said Phil Loadholdt actually graded out better in pass defense than McKinnie.

Ware should eat his lunch all day. He makes Jason Peters look like Anthony Munoz.

Nate would be right. McKinnie and Loadholt have both been turnstiles for quite a bit of the season. They've had to bench McKinnie a couple of times, and Loadholt has to have help.

Ware and Spencer could possibly have a field day. If the pass rush is working, they'll have to either give a ton of help to the tackles or really shorten their routes.
