Man it's quite an accomplishment to go TWO straight seasons WITHOUT a loss! Congratulations to them for winning their second straight title!

Coach Summitt has won the most women college championships with 8. Auriemma is still catching her. He may pass her up, but she's still one of the best coaches in the game.MegaMagick;3336699 said:Must've gotten bored and wanted to make the game close to make them feel like they've fought hard for everything. The rest of womens bball outside of the Griner girl is a pool of ****. It also looks bad for a male coach to be the head of the most dominant team, he got a lot of questions asking why he didn't try to go to a "new level" which basically means why don't you go coach with the big boys instead of coaching women. I'd rather Summitt or some other female bball coach be the head of all that so it doesn't look like a male dominating the womens game.
I like both NBA and college ball, but I do think that passing and cutting is much better than watching the various isolation plays that are run in the NBA.casmith07;3337134 said:I'm not a fan of women's basketball.
Then again, I'm not really a fan of college basketball at all. I prefer the NBA because it's the best of the best. "Passing and cutting" is about as exciting as watching grass grow in the desert. I want to see guys finish above the rim.

There's nothing more boring than watching "All-Star" Player dribble to one side of the court and the other four players move to the other side of the court just to watch "All-Star" player jack up a shot.
Let me clarify: I hate ISO plays on all levels... Standing around watching some yo-yo dribble forever to then jack up a low-percentage shot is not my idea of a good play.casmith07;3337165 said:The NBA isn't all iso though - plenty of teams like the Orlando Magic, Boston Celtics, Atlanta Hawks, and even the Lakers play solid team basketball. In fact, iso plays aren't used as much as they used to be with the addition of zone defense to the NBA. And iso is run in every level of competition, including college (Heyward of Butler, Zoubek of Duke), high school, and even youth league basketball.

But that said, passing and cutting is a fundamental part of the game and doesn't prevent above the rim play.

Women's basketball... *yawn*
How many layups can you miss in one game?
