I think this is correct.

Years ago it was only the SB W & L picked last, all other slots were strictly by records, not if you made the playoffs or not. Then it changed to include Conference / divisional.
If one and done in the wild card rounds, it still reverts to final records.
If it has changed since, I can't find any thing saying otherwise. But I haven't looked either.

I knew changes were made, but only thought it was divisional rounds.

So a team could actually improve from 21st pick to a 12th pick, by not winning their last game to win the division. I can see a lot of unhappy fans on here if e did make the playoffs at 7-9 or 6-10...:muttley:
 
It pains me to say this, but our season will be put out of its miserable misery this Sunday.

Sadly, no it won't. If Dallas wins 3 of 4, which must include Washington, they'll be in. In fact, if they win 2 of 4, including Washington, they still might be in.

It's crazy, but 6-10 might do it.
