Teams win superbowls. Just saying.

True. But this is about comparing which position is more valuable. And when do that, you have to look at positions individually to determine which has the greater impact. I think it's the cornerback, especially in a passing league.

But their contribution was significant. The Niners don't beat us without Deion. Darrell Revis made a significant impact on the Patriots team that ultimately beat the Seahawks. And Charles Woodson was a significant playmaker for the Packers until he was derailed by injury in the Super Bowl against the Steelers.

Look, I wanted Zeke. I thought he was a special talent. But I understand that it's a passing league - and despite Zeke's and Bell's success this is still a passing league - and in a passing league, elite corners are more valuable than elite running backs.
The Niners also don't beat us if Deion wasn't allowed to get away with pass interference in the end zone. Irvin destroyed Deion that year.

Zeke is a perfect fit for us because we are actually balanced on offense. He was also the best RB last year and likely to repeat that feat again next year.

Corner is not as impactful for the Dallas Cowboys as opposed to other teams because we don't play a press man scheme. Further Ramsey was not remotely the top corner last season. Compounding that is that he had microfracture surgery on a torn meniscus. Brown was our Jalen Ramsey and we got him in the 6th round.

The one that got away was Bosa who was the DRotY. He wouldn't have missed TC because of a contract dispute here and imagine what his 12 sacks would have done for our defense.

Ifs. We weren't winning that game because we had Barry Switzer as a coach, and his undisciplined approach could be seen in that game when we had three turnovers that resulted in a 21-0 lead for the Niners.

Be that as it may, that still doesn't minimize the impact Deion Sanders had on that Niners team. He was specifically signed to put the Niners one-up on us after Dallas had beaten them two consecutive times in the NFC Championship Game.

National writer: Cowboys will feel impact of passing on Jalen Ramsey with no Carr, Claiborne

Yes, the Cowboys will field a secondary next season, but gone are several familiar faces in Barry Church, Brandon Carr, Morris Claiborne and J.J. Wilcox.

And while Dallas has made some additions to its defense in free agency, it's not hard to think of what struggles could lie ahead -- at least for the secondary -- while NFC East rivals stock up on wide receiver help.

Could the Cowboys have better prepared themselves for this mass exodus of defensive backs? Maybe. One line of thought this offseason did center on them being able to re-sign Carr or Claiborne, which never materialized.

Though there was no telling how 2017 free agency would unfold back in March of last year, CBSSports.com columnist Pete Prisco believes passing on Jalen Ramsey with the fourth overall pick of the 2016 draft is a decision that will impact the Cowboys in the near future now that Carr and Claiborne are gone.

These "analyst "need to stay off our nuts, seriously. They act like Zeke was a complete bust and had zero impact on our team. I doubt Ramsey would've had a bigger impact than Zeke. If I could do it all over again, I would keep the same pick.

Zeke's impact went beyond just himself, it helped out Dez and mainly Dak tremendously. You kind of got three birds with one stone with Zeke and he'll continue to be huge in Dak's development!

I wanted Ramsey/Henry, but I'm more than fine with Zeke. Zeke was the piece to make this a dominant offense. Ramsey wasn't the singular piece to transform the defense into a dominant one. He would have helped, but there were still too many holes, especially on the D-line.

When you hit on a rookie that makes the All-Pro team and is one of the best at his position, you stop second guessing.

To be fair, Irvin carved up Eric Davis and Tim McDonald playing over the top in the NFCCG. The Niners had Sanders manned up on Alvin Harper for most of the game - Harper caught one pass for 15 yards in the game. The Niners viewed Harper as the guy who had broken their backs in previous games (the two long catches in the 1992 NFCCG, the touchdown on the slant from Kosar in the 1993 NFCCG, and a 90+ yard catch and run in the regular season game in 1994), and decided to use Sanders to eliminate Harper's big play ability and live with Irvin's production. They switched Sanders over to Irvin in the second half as the game got closer.

Pathetic, isn't it. Wow, we sure could have used his 2 ints this year over what Zeke gave us. lol.
Yeah look at the bigger picture. A rookie corner who is only getting better. And odds are he will have a longer career. Either way loved watching zeke last year. I'm just saying I would of done things differently. Look how the nfl is spreading team out. If you can't cover then your screwed. Look how the pats did the falcons in the SB. Our division is adding weapons at WR. It's kinda simple minded that everyone wants to talk down ramsey as good pick for us.
