as much as it makes me want to puke to say this.......Kobe is the MVP.

Chris Paul had a very good year, a great year, but he isn't t he MVP.

Umm...Tim Duncan IS a power forward. What else would he be?

Probably thinks he's a center.

I do like how he just ignores the fact that the guy wasn't a point guard during the season he's trying to claim he was, because it fits his argument.

Kobe is the MVP IMO. Not for the body of work but because he has been the best player in the league this year.

That's how I see it anyway.

He's been the best player in the league for a while now

well the rapist out dueled him on center stage at the end of the season, and took the best record in the conference from him.

So i'm thinking that rapist is going to get the MVP.

Just because some chick who's banging NBA players cries wolf, does not make it true. Can't say I'm a Kobe fan off the court, but he is amazing on it...and I do not think he raped that girl. And BTW, I do think OJ is a murder, so don't throw me in with that crew.

I think that there are others who you could consider, Paul being one of them, but I would probably agree with you. Kobe is probably the best player in the league right now. There have been years when I just shake my head at some of the selections that have been made for NBA MVP. This year, if Paul won it, I would not have too much problem with it. I do believe that Kobe has had the better season but I would not complain too much about Paul winning. If Kobe won it, I would think that it was deserving.

we have a volatile mix? According to who and what is it?

I hate the media. IF you think this team doesnt have good players your an idiot.

This is going to drive me crazy. I hope pacman never plays a down here.

IMO, Chris Paul should get the award. Yes, Kobe is an excellent player, but based on his whining before the season and how he wanted out so bad, he doesn't deserve it. He basically jumped back on the Laker bandwagon this year because they were doing good again.

Hold on, he stayed with LA who started the season with EXACTLY the same team as last season and he said he would play the season out regardless...he never left the wagon in order to jump back on. He had them challenging without Gasol and kept them going with Bynum not playing....MVP without doubt.

That is just another way of saying he doesn't deserve it because of who he is, it's about what a player done for their team...not what a player say's or feels.

as much as i dislike kobe just because, i have to agree. his team has the best record in the best conference and he was the catalyst for it. he has been playing through an injury a big chunk of the year and is still playing at a high level. they are both great, but the tie breaker would have to be consistency, and team record. Kobe has dominated everyone in his path while paul has been dominating everyone not named deron williams and half of the games tony parker.

Ummm...he was the reason they were doing good....

W/o Kobe, i really dont know if they would've made the playoffs.

Farmar--Radmanovich--Bynum---Fisher--Odom

I dont think they would've made it.
