NBC Football In America (or whatever) playing our win down

Most mediots will always harp on coaching mistakes, since many of the mediots are former players and they can finally stick it to a coach since they couldn't when they were players.

The whole NBC cast that does this show suffers from severe depression... Its like that every week they play down wins on every team and what not. Such a lame broadcast of highlights. Petition to get NFL Countdown back...

Really?

I didn't see it.

It looked to me like he ran into two of our players.

exactly........he grazed roy williams...

hell...you can high five one of your own players while you run to the endzone if you want to.

Had to be conclusive guys, and guess what, it wasn't. Their "top" story, McNabb lost for rest of the year.

Oh well. Typical.

Well, in the bigger scheme of things, McNabb's injury is probably a bigger story.

If it makes you feel better, Collinsworth is almost universally despised by Colts fans. The night of the Colts/NE Sunday night game, Collinsworth picked Brady as the Player of the week, BEFORE the game. Brady went on to throw 4 INTs in that game.

Collinsworth's an idiot.

Your team played a great game and it was a big win for you. Just enjoy it.

What ticked me off was his stupid comment "It would have definitly changed the course of the game, apparantly" (or something along those lines)

So basically he said the Cowboys would NOT have scored a TD had Burnett been ruled down by contact, but they may have.

I will enjoy it, thanks. But doing what no other team has done this year is the bigger story.

Coming into the weekend all the papers and pre-game shows were talking about the Colts and their run. We ended it.

Players get hurt everyday. And Philly wasn't exactly lighting up the league either.

Did Collie happen to mention the missed holding call on the play we got the bogus ruffing the passer?

That's the way I saw it. I have Tivo and I re Ran it probably 8 or 9 times trying to see if they had any angle that showed him in contact with a Colt player. I saw none at all.

It was probably a call that a coach should challenge just on principle but it would not have been over turned.

And yes, Collinsworthless is a nut.

I don't think that play would've been overturned.

I saw no visual evidence that would've overturned the play.

Totally agree man.

Does it matter what anyone else thinks of our win?

Me.....Well, I'm excited about Thanksgiving.

And, I'll be the biggest Colt fan there is next week when they play the Eagles.

Thanx , I agree that the McNabb story is bigger ,but that doesn't make it right to take away the effort The Cowboys had against the best team in the NFL.
Just irritates me to no end.

I know we're not angels ,lets just be fair and consistant, thats all i ask.

If you think the NBC guys are depressed or resentful of the cowboys win, go to NFL.com and read the recap under the score. The writer seems upset that we won and calls us a "Flawed" team.

Check out the photos linked there too. They seem a little one-sided in favor of the Colts.

Oh, we won and that's all that counts.

If you watch HBO's This Week in the NFL, you know whose butts his head is up.

Hey, I'm not taking anything away from either your team's effort or achievement, I'm jus saying that the media does that all the time. They minimized the Colts win over the Bills last week because it was only by a point. But the Bills kicked a FG and left Manning with over 6 minutes. Did they really think that he wouldn't have gone down and either scored a TD or gotten Adam V in position to score a fg if we'd needed that?

Seriously, the Bills are NOT the Cowboys! :D

The guy on NE who has all those gaudy rings and carries a man purse?

(not that's there's anything wrong with that)

The Most dangerous man on the Football field with two minutes or less in the game is your QB.

T.G.'s first down was BIG
