NBCDFW: Bennett Verbally Spars With Fan On Twitter

He doesnt know the plays, I would say thats a big part of it, so yes, it is his fault he would rather be a youtube superstar than an nfl superstar.

Someone called him out on that a few weeks ago on Twitter and he claimed that he didn't line up wrong and that's all he would say about it. I'll just say this, it sure as hell looks like he keeps lining up wrong - every week.

So Marty is saying he is lining up correctly even though Romo has to tell him where to go before every dam play???

Yea, right. Whatever you say Marty.

What a 2nd round bust he is turning out to be.:bang2:

they might be looking at how the defense lines up before they decide where to put the TEs which considering how often it happens seems much more reasonable. If Bennett really didn't know the playbook even Wade would probably bench him

If they are waiting to see how the defense lines up before they know where to put the TEs, then Coach Tecmo is as dumb as everybody thinks.

I dont see any of the other teams having a fire drill in the backfield with everybody moving around and the QB pointing here and there and then snapping the ball with 1 second left on the playclock.

Maybe if this happened once or twice it would be understandable, but this is happening play after play after play.

which is even more reason to assume it's done on purpose, If Bennett didn't know where to line up every time this happened he would not be on the field.

Like Aikman pointed out on Sunday they're probably calling multiple plays in the huddle then Romo decides which one to go with based on how the D lines up

If this is being done on purpose, then Garrett is as dumb as a bag of rocks. If a play is being called at the line and players are trying to hear what the play is and everybody is moving around and pointing.......you have chaos.

What does chaos do? Chaos causes your wide reciever to think the play being called is a curl inside at 10 yards while the Qb thinks the play is a curl outside at 10 yards. The result is an interception at the 5 yard line.

Coach Tecmo is such a genius, we are so lucky to have him.

Until Martellus Bennett decides he wants to be a great football player I pretend like he does not exist. He could be, but he isn't and he never was(even in college he pulled this half ***** crap) and with all of his obnoxiousness sprinkled on top, I feel right now he's just stealing a job from somebody who gives a damn and wants the cowboys to be a great football team cause it ain't him and it never was and he isn't doing a damn thing anyway because he's not as good as he thinks he is. He has top 5 TE potential(which he is a billion miles away from) but he's not exactly Randy Moss or Chad Johnson or any of those guys. They get on my nerves when they do a little, but we are getting this from a non starter who is about to be our latest bust cause he refuses to work. Shut up...

The route was an adjustment based on the defense. Romo read the D for an out - Austin turned in. That's not chaos.

I agree that the movement is due to multiple plays called in the huddle. My only problem is that if you going to do this consistently as an offense, then go no huddle and save yourself the time to change. Dallas takes too long to get out of the huddle to read the D and then change receiver and TE positions.

Wait... you think i'm a Garrett fan? :lmao2:

This is such a non-story atempt to mirror the situation in Washington right now.

Move along.

And Bennett needs to stop tweeting and youtubing and spend more time practicing football.

Have we sunk so far that twittering is considered showing fire? He ought to shut his mouth and do his talking on the field.

Agreed. This tweeter crap, facebook crap is all worthless.

Learn the playbook you clown.

It appears all the receivers need to learn the playbook. How many incorrect routes have we seen lately?

If you don't know your job, get the **** off the field.

Ive seen other teams that call multiple plays in the huddle, and were the only one with the pre-snap chinese fire drill.
