NCAA 11 Players

Anyone here playing NCAA 11 and want to do an online dynasty? I like playing with Army, so I would like to build a custom conference of bad teams if possible because it makes the recruiting more intense.

Let me know if you're interested - I was in a good one last year but it fell apart.

How is the NCAA Dynasty compared to the Madden Franchise mode (frankly, I think the franchise mode in Madden is pretty outdated and boring).

Wondering if the NCAA version is more in depth/polished.

It's not horribly in depth, but the online dynasty allows you to compete against your friends for recruits, BCS bowls, etc. It's more fun in the college game too because week to week you can change your offense.

Hmm alright, still debating picking up NCAA. EA said they are going to rewrite Franchise Mode from the ground up on Madden for 2012, so really looking forward to that.

Pretty much all I do is play franchise, I haven't been able to get into the online modes ever since NFL 2k.

How is the NCAA Dynasty compared to the Madden Franchise mode

I haven't played 11 yet but NCAA 09 and 10 the Dynasty mode was a lot deeper then Madden Franchise specially online dynasty compared to online franchise

Playstation 3. Never could get into XBox, but Fable 3 is interesting.

Since CA is a Sony fanboi ......

I guess I could set up the Dynasty on the 360, unless someone else wants to volunteer. I really would rather not do it, because it's easier for me to devote an hour every 5-7 days to one game rather than to have to be depended on to advance each week. So if someone else wants to volunteer, by all means.

But I really do want to do this. And I like the idea of using crappy teams. CA, how do you set up schedules? Do you require all teams to be from a couple conferences or what?

I'm the same way. I'm not a hardcore gamer anymore so I really need to check and see how much of a commitment is needed to participate. But I always play dynasty/franchise modes so I think it'll be interesting to go at it with other players.

Yeah when we played last year we had a rule that the best teams couldn't be any better than like a C or D+. You just have everyone pick a team and set it up with a custom conference.

That was the problem with the dynasty I was in last year - it had two advances a week, like Thursday and Saturday, but after about 5 weeks of really good football and recruiting, the advancer vanished and we were stuck. It's pretty fun to see who's recruiting who. I was mad that I didn't get to bring in Clifford Cutler, a 6'5" 275lb DE that was a 5-star recruit. I was narrowly leading in my recruiting with Army over one of the other guys (Idaho Vandals) lol.

I'm down to be the advancer for the 360 league if you guys are really down and want to do this. Don't feel like getting into it though if nobody is going to pay any attention to what's going on, that's the main part of the fun.

We need to figure out how many want to do this... Maybe need an official thread in Sports Zone or something. I'd rather not have a dynasty with just 3 players.

Yeah it's great when there's a full conference of 12 guys.

Ive got a couple of friends who want to do it too, so if you have any more people that'd be cool. If the people who spoke in this thread are actually down, we'd have like 7-9 which wouldn't be bad at all. I've been playing the game last couple of days and I really like it this year so it would be awesome if we can get it going..
