It's an illusion thing. ND brass wants the country to believe he wasn walk on water. Perception is reality to many remember.

He took players that Willingham could do nothing with and got to 2 BCS bowls and got 20 wins in 2 years. And he is doing a great job of recruiting. So in both areas he is miles ahead of Losingham and Davie. Thats why he is worshipped. Sort of like Parcells was here the first year. Hopefully Charlie does better. This year the Irish are going to take their lumps. But that is the way it is sometimes.

Unless he shapes up Jones is NOT the answer at QB. At least it looks like ND finally has a defense though. Of course its hard to tell if GT has a good Offense now. ND defense has already looked better then it has in 2 years.

Tech did not have a good offense last year and that was with Calvin Johnson and an experienced QB.

I don't know how long Charlie is going to stick with Jones. I think it is becoming clear he is not going to do much. I like the Irish D; a lot more active and aggressive. But the O really is pathetic. Exact opposite of last year.
