He should be suspended for 2 or 3 games and fined a hefty sum. The way he behaved on that play was embarrassing. He's supposed to be the face of that franchise and a role model for kids.

I say he should get a 2 game suspension for the dirty kick and another 2 games for his stupid comments after the game in which he basically says the ref made a bad call.

In addition, I'd consider giving the team a fine. Guess who Haynesworth's DC was when he stomped on Gurode? The Titans were considered by many to be a dirty team when he was their DC and now the Lions are earning the same reputation. Suh is a dirty player and Schwartz has a history of coaching dirty players. I don't think it's a coincidence at all.

Yes he should. Three games and at least a $50.000.- fine as well. And that is IF he accepts responsibility AND offers a public apology. That is getting off lightly in my opinion.

That was a lame way for a so called "professional" to behave on Thanksgiving Day in front of a Nationally televised game and the only game on at the time. Sorry, sorry, sorry. It would be wrong at any time, but especially today.

He could be suspended for the rest of the season and it wouldn't hurt my feelings. Can't describe how much that stuff irritates me- guy on the ground and all. Total BS.

Not only was his infraction a purposeful action, it was several. he banged the guys head into the turf not once, not twice, but three times. Then when he gets up, he stomps on his arm.

Any of those could have caused serious injury.

I remember how very much I admired him coming out of college, and how thrilled I would have been if the Boys had been able to draft him, and I count my blessings for unanswered prayers...

I really think Schwartz is a first class ******* and he promotes that kind of behavior in his team. The Lions have become a bunch of classless, dirty, arrogant *******s.

Suh was regarded as a class act coming out of college. I think Schwartz changed him.

I tend to agree even though I put 3 games. There definitely needs to be a message.

I say 2 games. What Suh did is not near as bad as what Haynesworth did, so I think 5 games would be excessive. I don't think a 1 game suspension is quite enough in sending a message. A 2 or 3 game suspension seems about right. I would be surprised and a bit ticked off if the league doesn't suspend him.

I was teetering on the fence of if I would want Suh on my team. I think I just fell off on the side of not wanting him. He does dumb things. Every players makes mistakes, but what he did was just plain stupid. It seems he is getting worse with his dumb things. He can get it all corrected, but I just can't trust him right now.

Then he lied about it! Suspend him for 4 at a minimum - he didn't stomp on the guy's face, so I think that's worth 1 less game than Haynesworth.
