I've read most of Saltie's book, and although I never read military thrillers -- ever -- I was engaged despite the length.

Good dialogue, tangible characters. You care about their stories and eventual fates. It's a good read. You won't be disappointed.

If you need another reader or possibly 2 I can give it a read for you. It's actualy my favorite type of book so there is very little chance I wouldn't make it through though it may take slightly longer than average I like to read but it makes me tired so I can only usually do a few chapters at a time.
