No more of bargain basement shopping and building only through the draft. You want to win more than one playoff game, you do what PHI and LAR did. Make bold free agent acquisitions and trades. Re-sign Beasley. Sign S Earl Thomas. Sign DT Malik Jackson or Ndamukong Suh. Trade for or sign a starting quality TE (Eifert, Jared Cook, Brate, Delanie Walker). Get a real backup QB. Draft a high quality backup RB to complement Zeke (Bryce Love?). Thoughts?

On offense we need a slot wr if beasley goes, and if they don’t wanna use a decent amount of resources for one they better draft a stud tight end. We need some production at those 2 positions. Gallup and Cooper did their share tonight. Where was everybody else?

The way the rams played their D if you couldnt make a play tonight you shouldn’t be a big part of this offense’s future.

I doubt they spend a lot in FA as usual. They have too many of their own players to deal with.

From what Im hearing they will have a good chunk of cap space. Enough to extend players and make some key additions.

Wheather they do it or not remains to be seen. But the ability is there

They need to be crafty in the FA market and not go blue chip. Too many of their own looking ti get paid. Cooper was a nice pick up, but losing that first round pick is going to sting in a draft that is loaded with DL talent. When I look at that game, the two positions that stand out to me that really would have changed the game are the S position and 1 Tech NT. They really need to upgrade those two positions on defense. Hopefully the OL will improve with the return of Freddy and Williams in a strength program during the off season.

I dont know if Suh or Jackson is what we need on the line. I wouldnt be opposed however, because they are both good players. Suh might be a good 3 Tech on run downs and 1 Tech on pass downs

They will do what they do, cheap cheap cheap, and drop a ton of money on D-law for some crazy reason, he has done squat

Im kinda interested to see what Detroit does with their 1T. They have Snacks and Ashawn Robinson. I wonder if Snacks might be a cap cut this offseason. He would top my list. Id be interested in Robinson too in a smaller potatoes type move. He is very talented and fits what we need inside

Would love to sign and draft a top DT

Need to sign a FS like EThomas

Draft a TE don't waste money

Expect us to sign no big name players.

With that being said... how many players are free agents this year?

With Richard likely coming back, ET just seems like a forgone conclusion for me. Too much mutual interest there.

It will be interesting to see how many good DT's get cut. Seems to happen alot. Snacks is a possibility IMO

The FA TE is meh. Not much better than what we have, if at all. Brate or James are the only ones that make sense, and I dont know if either is impactful enough to warrent a FA expenditure. Strong TE draft class this year

I agree and honestly they can’t keep what we got over the next few years without adding cheaper drafted guys
To me you get one guy who is a quality player who can really help one side of the ball
If Beasley walks a slot guy with some return skills would help
A safety who help

Jerry will be busy indeed. Look for lots of money rewarding a media franchise thrown around to the head coach and players. Looking forward to being manhandled in the 2020 division round. Can’t wait!

malik Jackson would be a HUGE GET. YES PLEASE. Earl on a 2 year deal TOPS...HUGE UPGRADE...even if hes on one leg. Delanie Walker coupled with Jarwin and Shultz is intriguing.

love it

I think Jar Jar and Schultz are good enough

the missing pieces on this Richard D was a true DT AND EARL THOMAS. We are very close to elite defensively if we do this. Offensively we must address the OC. ALSO...the oline..every position outside of Zack Martin. Not sold on Collins at RT. move him to LEFT GUARD PLEASE!!!!!! Conner Williams may be a much better RT than guard actually. Plug Collins in at LG and you have a pro bowler for 10 years. Looney is good enough..cant count on Fredrick. Tyron is done in Dallas..he's shot physically.

I say you dont sign byron Jones to a contract extension and throw that money at Grady Jarrett Md then I'd sign earl Thomas or Amos and build the rest through the draft.

I think if we get a good move TE we are in good shape. An Evan Engram type. Even be willing to go 4 deep. Shultz and Swaim are your inline guys, with Jarwin and ______ as your move TE's.

I dont think the guys we have are scrubs. All of them have been contributors this year. But I would like to see that dynamic player we dont have. Id keep them all, because I cant expect a rookie 2nd round TE to come in and immediately be a star.

Collins lost his job at LG. He was not good there. He was wildly inconsistent. I don’t know why so many posters forget this.
