Need at least one thread about the refs

I found this on an Eagles website saying it was a call the Eagles got from the refs. This was ruled no TD. Even the Eagles fans say the refs blew it.

Literally could not have been an easier call to correct. He was pushing and shoving and knees never touched the ground and the ball clearly over the line. Really just so awful - it is starting to ruin the game for me. The Dez catch that puts us in the NFCC game and this. The Dez catch being far more impactful. Still, it is getting hard to watch these egregious mistakes keep happening - all over the league.

I really hope there is an explanation from the league on this play.

The ONLY thing I can think of is that the play was whistled dead before the above arm extension took place. That is still the absolute wrong call but makes more sense if they couldn't prove on the replays that he broke the plane on his initial burrowing into the pile.

This was a no brainer. And the refs apparently had no brains.

He’s literally standing on the goal line extending a full arms length over.

I mean look at Noah Browns foot. It’s on the goal line. Look where the ball is in comparison. Come on man!

This was bad, but I otherwise thought it was a pretty well called game for the first time this year.

The refs were on the sidelines didn’t see it, the review though showed a possible TD from the overhead camera, but not decisive with the sideline cameras.

BTW, look where Biadasz is. He got zero push.

On a more humorous note, there is a great photoshop opportunity with this picture.

They literally have a camera system in place in every NFL stadium where the sky camera can be positioned directly above the play. There is no reason it cannot be above the LOS when its right at the goal line.

i heard a lot last night about how the whistle was blown well before he reached over the goal line, that is absolutely FALSE

the whistle is blown about a fraction before Dak loses the ball (well after he reaches over the line)
