After watching the game again... Pierre Paul just shredded our offensive line when lining up one on one...

Callahan has got to get some fullback and tight end chip blocks on him to try to get him off his game...

It just seemed like our protection schemes gave Pierre Paul too many one on one match ups...

P.P. just has an amazing combination of strength, agility and speed...

He got no sacks and it was pretty obvious that they were asking Free and Smith to cheat outside. He got pressure on inside moves but Romo spun out of it each and every time.

this is what i was thinking too many times we had smith try to single block him. And we even made witten block him a couple times.

That's the difference between JPP and Ware. How many times do you see a QB escape Ware when he's in their face? Ware's lateral agility is astonishing for his size.

He was driving really hard inside a lot. It seemed not to be to get the sack but more to get Romo to move a bit as they thought he couldn't deal with pressure from the middle.

I think we should counter this by maybe throwing some screens in his direction because he will be running himself out of the way of screen passes. We just can run a RB his way and try to quickly hit him and get some OL in front.

It is too bad Romo doesn't like to run with the ball as he should be giving Romo a good alley to run. This is especially true if they are playing a lot of man coverage underneath.

One of those got a sack by their DT and that may have been the series on which we kicked a FG.

That sprint draw was run right at him and took advantage of his aggressiveness of him trying to get downhill without run discipline.

Watch JPP exclusively in the 4th quarter. He was beat to a pulp. Witten was able to block him 1-on-1 pretty easily.

For giggles, watch the play at 11:24 in the 4th quarter. He gets pancaked by Livings. A couple plays later Tyron pushed him back 6+ yards on a 9 yard run by Murray. Free is able to wall him off a few plays later for a big gain by Murray (the play where he runs into Dez).

On the last drive, on 2nd and 9, we ran right at him. Free pushes him back and Murray picks up 7 or 8 yards right behind Free.

JPP isn't all he cracked up to be. You don't see that kind of performance EVER from Ware.

P.P. can bull rush, fake and go inside or go around you... Tyron bit on the head fakes and seemed to get caught flat footed...

I just think you need to have a fullback in there once in a while to put a few hits on P.P. when he tries to go inside...

Is it me or does it seem like Free plays too high and doesn't seem to get good leverage when blocking against the bull rush...

My favorite part of the telecast was how colinsworth was talking up jpp as the best pass rusher in the league and pointed out his couple of pressures as evidence. At the same the real best pass rusher in the league had two sacks.

Right, people think JPP is a football god because NBC shows his good plays. But they don't mention the not so good play, or non factor plays as you just did.
Not saying he is not great. But he shouldn't not be put on a pedestal either as the best.

He may be only 2nd best, if that high. :D

collinsworth is laughable. JPP wasn't even the best passrusher on the field. JPP had one good year yet they are trying to crown him like they did clay mathews 2 years ago.

Smith had some trouble with JPP but destroyed Tuck, Osi and everyone else.

One of Murrys big gains happen when JPP push up field hard blew by Smith on the outside (left shoulder) and they just ran right by Tyron's right shoulder and picked up good yardage.

They used it in the run game

They sure did and they said will JPP take over Ware's spot as the best pass rusher in the near future since he is only 23. They talked about Ware's getting to the 100 sacks so fast

Chris said alot of dumb things Wednesday. "JPP best pass rusher in the league" , "Eli Is elite" , (eli threw 25 picks two years ago) and it was "Tony's best game ever". Chris doesn't watch Dallas play much because Tony plays like this often.

Yeah, but in that one good year, both JPP and Clay ended up with rings.....it does count for something, and announcers will kiss their grits because of that.

Rings count for perception, not for performance (when speaking about individual performance).

True, but it is what gets announcers and most fans attention.

If we had won one last year, we would get the same props and noone here would have a problem with it. Only reason it is a big deal here that they get props is cause its a sensitive spot for us with us not having one recently.
