Here's a good mock draft... it has us picking 2 necessities, CB and DT. With Newman's struggles and a now thinner and lighter than pre-training camp DL we should do this... Not that Newman will struggle indefinately... Also wouldn't mind a couple of other DTs like Wisconsin's Hawthorne or Wright from UT.

I also like Johnson for a LB because he's always around the ball, sounds like a recipe for special teams in the BP book. Or even better is the OLB from VA, Brooks. If that guy is as good as they say he is, then take Rolle at CB and Brooks at LB and then you should have tools to beef up for your new 3-4 defense as long as you go out and get a couple of battleship size DTs to clog up the middle.
