Thanks. Is the address on Whitehall? If so,what's the number, and I can plug it in to my GPS if I'm over that-a-way!

Nevermind. I think I know where it is. May see you Friday!

If you're in the Carolinas, and you don't name it this and go with this motif...

Then require that all your employees look and dress like this, you're missin' the boat.

This isnt meant to be racial or anything, but isnt there some big advantage for these conv stores to be owned by non-Americans? Taxes? 0% loans or something??

Non-Amercians?? As far as any tax breaks or 0% loans, this is the first I've heard of that....

:laugh2: I'll have to find the right employees for the role first I guess.....
Not a big andy griffth show fan but we purchased a motel in Mount Airy,NC four years ago...The first summer we had it, we found out it was the same Blue View Motel they had on the show! Every year, they have "mayberry days" where all the fans of the show come to Mount Airy. It was through one of them that we discovered it......:D

What exactly does this have to do with the price of oranges?

Yeah, that question is SOOO way out of left field. I assume you've entered a convenience store or two at some point and noticed that a large percentage of them are owned by people of middle eastern descent.

I was told once the reason is that they get 0% loans to finance them for a certain amount of time. Then they change ownership, to another family member, to keep the 0% rate. Thought maybe the OP had some insight into it.

Call it The Sideline, it's fitting too, since gas stations/marts are essentially on the side of roads. Plus you can appeal to all NFL fans this way. Sell some kind of NFL merchandise within the store, etc. I know if there was a gas station on the side of the road called The Skin Stop painted burgundy and gold I'd run out of gas first before handing them a dime.
