Hey guys, I am working on my trip to come to Dallas for the Sept.28 game against the Skins.

I was hoping somebody from the Texas area would be so kind to help me out? Is Grapevine and Richardson Texas close to Texas Stadium? I am looking for a hotel and have found one in each spot but don't know much about Grapevine and Richardson Texas.

The last few years I have stood at the Wingate in Los Calinas but would like to upgrade my hotel for this year.

So if you guys would be so kind to let me know about Richardson and Grapevine Texas, I would appreciate the information. Please, feel free to let me about these areas and others that you can recommend!

Grapevine is closer, has tons of places to eat, and right by the airport. From Grapevine you can take 121 or 360 to 183 (Dallas) and it will take you right to Texas Stadium. It is about a 20 minute drive with no traffic.

unless you stay at the gaylord in grapevine, you're not really upgrading there or richardson.

las colinas is the premier business community and most of your nice hotels are in the area as well. summerfield suites off 121 and macarthur is like a small apartment and pretty nice. most hotels in that area will be nice.

if the goal is to upgrade the hotel stay in las colinas and get a nicer one OR hit gaylord in grapevine. that's like an experience in itself.

Hey, if you don't mind, why don't you just tell us what hotels you are looking at. I'm sure we can give you advice.

Not knowing anything other than the two cities, I'd recommend Grapevine over Richardson. It's closer to the stadium and especially the airport.

Although, Las Colinas is probably better than the other two options.

Roanoke, VA? Ewww. Why were going there??

Grapevine would be much better than Richardson. Closer to the airport, closer to the stadium, and just nicer.

I'd recommend the Hilton DFW Lakes. It's right next to the Bass Pro Shop, Grapevine Mills, Gaylord Texan, plenty of restaurants, and real easy access to 635 to get to the game.

Not as pricey as some others in the area and just as nice.

Hotels.com has it at $110 a night on the 27th and 28th. Can't beat that.

I've stayed at the Holiday Inn Express in Grapevine and it was the most bang for the buck. I paid $89 that night but since then it's gone up to like $159. Now I live in the area so I stay at home. I know Grapevine is a nice area and would highly recommend it, not familiar with Richardson yet...

Every time I go to a Cowboys game, I go to Priceline, enter "galleria area", put in 4 stars as the rating and enter around $55 to $60 a night....the last three times, I got the Intercontinental on Beltline for $55 a night, the Hilton in Lincoln Center for $60 one time and $62 a night the next time. Dont pay more than that.
