Hey all,

For anyone that has been to the new stadium, how much is parking at the cash lots? I was going to try to get there early enough to get a spot as close as possible to the stadium. I know some of the cash lots are further away than others.

Are there any other places to park, perhaps a little further away with shuttle service?

I went to the Saints/Cowboys game a few weeks ago, and the Superdome has shuttle service that picks up people at a Wal-Mart further away from the city. Anything like that available?

Reponses are appreciated.

I parked across the street from the Rangers Ball Park. It was a bit of a walk, although not too bad but it was easy leaving after the game we did not get caught up in any traffic.

I drive to Arlington from Irving and I take Hwy 161.
I have parked in cash lots ranging from $5 to $20.
The five dollar ones are about 20-30 mins walk, and twenty dollar ones are about a 10 min walk form the stadium.

I parked here also. It was really easy getting out. I think it was like $20.

I usually park in Lincoln Square, which is about a 10-15 minute walk.

It's "free" as long as you spend $40 in one of their store/restaurants on gameday (you leave your receipt in your window as proof).

That's where I'll be parking, and then I'll probably grab a couple beers at Sherlocks or Olenjacks after the game to celebrate!

On six flag road? It was easy I turned down that road with no problem and hit the freeway to get back to my hotel took no time at all. Those parking close to the stadium things looked to be allot more congested.

I parked across the street from the baseball stadium. It was like a 20 min walk but only $20 to park there.

There are several close to the stadium for $40 on Collins. But this being theplayoffs, wouldn't doubt they bump it to $60.

Thanks to all of you for your responses. Lots of great ideas on places to park. I don't really mind walking, but it is going to be pretty cold tomorrow, so I'll be bundled up pretty good.

The Lincoln Square idea seems pretty cool. I see they have a GNC, so I'm sure I'll be able to spend some money in there.

Danny White - I may wind up at Sherlocks after the game also if we win. If we lose, I won't feel like celebrating. Stop and say hello. Just look for a 5'7" tall tan skinned guy with short black hair in a blue hooded Cowboys sweatshirt.
