So, last night at a New Year's party, we were arguing about how good Romo is a QB. Good friend was indicating that Kitna was just a good as Romo this year. I explained that if Romo had the opportunity to run a more balanced offense, we could have won a lot more games. Does anyone have the number of rush attempts while Romo was playing this year compared to Kitna?

Ok. I stopped being lazy.

With Romo:
Avg run per game: 24
Avg pass per game: 41

With Kitna:
Avg run per game: 30
Avg pass per game: 33

Romo stats:
11 td's, 7 Int's, 1605 yards, 94.9% passer rating.

Kitna stats:
16 td's, 12 Int's, 2365 yards, 88.9% passer rating.

I guess Kitna is the better QB. :lmao2:

Why do so many people put the passer rating as a percentage?

Romo 1 win
Kitna 4 wins

I'm not sure of the point in this thread, but do you think a team with poor statistics across most positions are winning teams? Also, you're taking a sample of a few games to compare the two Quarterbacks? Okay, so let's forget that the wins could be related to other factors, such as HC change and the way practices are run.

I'd be willing to be just about anything that Romo has a better winning record than Kitna does.

yeah maybe if there was any evidance at all that the change in wins was because of the change in QB.... but alot of variables change, and it doesn't seem that the QB change made a huge difference on things a QB affects..

If we had Romo when Garrett took over... we are a monster team... we probably win out.. assuming the same changes are made other than QB.. it is possible that had Romo stayed the QB that garrett wouldn't have balanced out the offense to run more, or something like that.. but if you were watching the games, and saw Kitna being better than Romo... you

A.) Need glasses
B.) Have an Agenda.

Ok so Stats are affected by any of those factors? It's all about wins. Point. Blank. Period.

And Kitna was 0-2 under Wade. Romo had won close to 70 percent of his games entering this season. Kitna's winning percentage isn't close to that. Pick a stat to fit your agenda, because anyone with any football knowledge knows that there is no comparison between those 2.

Now you're back tracking. You never said it was about THIS year. Your words were that It's all about wins. Point. Blank. Period.

Yeah...
So did you happen to notice a difference in how the team started playing after the HC change? Because, like a said, Kitna was 0-2 (not including the blown lead when Romo went down) under Wade. Kitna has been good this year, but let's not act like he's a 3x Pro Bowler with a high career winning percentage that is one of the highest rated passers in NFL history.

Goodnight son.

Saying he has an agenda is being way too nice. No one, no matter who, who has an agenda, glorifies an injury to a Cowboy player if he's a Cowboy fan. Look at his avatar. How is this guy not banned?
