Aside from liking the reason behind the idea in itself, we are also in need of something to give us an edge / advantage during home games

MSU thing, huge MSU tradition since the 40s. Dak would love it... Kinda goes with the whole Cowboy theme. NFL would probably get involved and ban them if they became widespread though. Makes homefield advantage deafening.

One of those things you either love or you hate. Growing up an MSU fan I think they are great. Opposing fans can't stand them.
