We really do need to be more aggressive in playing style.

Dak has always been so proficient in an up tempo offense; it escapes me why the Cowboys don’t do it more often.

Sloppy play is always an argument against playing faster, but the Cowboys were unbelievably sloppy early in the game (before they started playing faster).

Let’s start pushing this thing forward and stop being so reactive to everything. With such a terrible defense and unreliable O-line play, the offense needs to step up.

Overusing tempo can be problematic too. It can actually make a bad defense worse

The team was the fastest in the league time per play last week and should be up again this week.

It can't make this defense look worse though.

What's happening is the offense is getting off to slow starts and the defense is getting no stops.

I've come to grips this team has to win shootouts.

Up tempo attack makes too much sense. Dak plays well fast, Kellen ran an up tempo offense, and Big Mike had one in GB.

Also, Dallas has a running to help them dictate tempo.

Can’t be much worse than we’ve already been haha. We need more possessions if the defense is gonna play like garbage.
Im willing to be more patient right now. Season is early, our OL has been killed with injuries. And we are adding new players to a new staff. So I expect it to take some rough patches before it comes together. Getting Tyron and La'el back to 100% will be huge

Luckily we got that W today. In 0-2 hole, I'd be much more willing to be agressive

I hear ya, man. The W today alleviated a lot of potential stress

Good point guard, and can run it himself too. This is the way to make the most of Dak and our skill player talent on offense.

Lots of misdirection, from RPO, read option, play action, jet sweeps, and let Dak dish it based on the look of the defense. He's good at dishing. He can run. He can throw on the move.

Getting the offense rolling was big. Weathering the storm of oline injuries too.

That the defense would take time to get rolling was predictable. More injuries and poor play than expected, but also low budget players coming through unexpectedly. Defense has problems, but should get better as the year goes on.

The offense needs to get us enough wins so we take the division, which is luckily an easy row to hoe this year.

I thino we are in very good shape if we win next week. Our schedule after that is very friendly.

Even if we lose, I think we are still in good shape. Our division is a mess. I think Washington can be good on a game to game basis, but I think they are an 8-8 team right now
