Actually, what they need to do is beat the 49ers and the Eagles and get the number 1 spot in the playoffs. This team is very good. The should end up with 13 and 4.

The team as it is is too good for tanking, whether intentional or just a weirdo fan strategy. Let's see how the SF game turns out. I really hope we can kick their butts this time. If they get beaten badly as in those two games before I'd say yes, once again a pretender instead of contender. But I'd never wish for us to lose against these pesky 49ers. I mean come on, it's the 49ers. They're as awesome as a porta potty being pushed over in the summer after the whole construction crew had chili.

FIRST: Wouldn't the "best thing" that could happen be that the cowboys dominate the 49ers?

SECOND: Nothing positive would come from the team getting beat badly.

THIRD: Hitting the panic button and making desperation trades is not the way to success. The team has had 1 bad game and 3 dominant games, so you should tap the brakes a bit.

FOURTH: Teams aren't looking to trade this early in the season. They're still seeing how their team will develop. Cowboys would likely have to give away way too much to get a meaningful player, and how would that help?
