Need quick fix idea for fender repair

So I bought some industrial strength duct tape and the zip ties. The heat was a bit of a deterent against trying the zip ties, plus I bought the wrong size zip ties. So I duct taped the hell out of it.

It wasn't terrible. I'm just glad it survived the drive and the brief rain I ran into.

I bought it that way. Cheap cash car with some pre-existing damage to it.

I'd taken it to a shop to fix it, and they suggested replacing the whole bumper cuz the other fender had similar damage. I chose to have them to do a quick fix to it. This is the only one that didn't take.

Nah, they were kinda 'spensive for what I had them do. My friend's husband gave me a number to a different guy to call.

Well, if you are not real vain, that duct tape will last a long time just the way it is. I've seen worse than that.

Well, not about this car. It was cheap and gets great gas mileage. But because of funds, I may have to drive it like that for a couple of weeks, at least.
