Well for one thing it’s highly doubtful Carolina demanded a 4th rounder for a receiver they weren’t using that’s way over paying on Jones part .

As to Parsons if you team him with Overshown and Kneeland going forward you have the makings of rebuilding some QB pressures sacks disruptions 3 and outs . Parsons is a building block 31 other teams would love to have . Do not trade him !

I agree with OP

Micah's peak is not going to coincide with the rebuild that needs to happen.

An extension for him means he'll be committed at least until 2027.

Does anyone really think he'll be worth 35-40 million a year by then?
