My friends motherboard got fried and I am trying to transfer the data from his HD to my external HD.
We went out and bought a Kingwin EZ-Connect hard drive usb adapter and got it all hooked up to my laptop. I can get into his files and everything but then when I try to drag the files he wants over to my external HD, it says I do not have permission to do this.
Is this because he had a password on his computer or what? And how do I get around this?
It doesn't let me transfer ANY files at all.
Anyone know whats up?
