It's disgraceful that I have to tell "professional" football players what should be common sense, but here's what the Dallas Cowboys must do to get back to the glory years:

1. T.O. either "needs" to let his playing do the talking and play "team" ball, or he "needs" to find a new uniform.

2. Romo "needs" to know he gets paid millions of dollars, and losing is not "OK."

3. Pacman Jones has too many issues to be effective and "needs" to be cut; he's more interested in getting into trouble than playing football.

4. All the Cowboys' players "need" to develop chemistry and all eleven men "need" to play with 11 hearts in each of their bodies for four quarters, every game.

5. The Cowboys "need" to stop taking stupid penalties. I saw that late hit, Pacman!

With these things done, our Cowboys will be champions once more.

I don't think he believes it's "OK" to lose. Once you lose, there's not much you can do about it.

He does too believe it's "OK" to lose. He didn't say those exact words, but it's easily implied. Football is just a game to him, not a job.

In all fairness, there are some "obvious" things that you pointed out. but lets get into the real needs of this team.
We "need" to cut Carpenter, Ellis, Pacman Jones, Roy Williams(safety), Cory Procter, and Zack Thomas.
We "need" to give Romo a few seconds in the pocket to make decent decisions.
We "need" to get some turnovers on Defense.
We "need" to build our team from the draft and quit the free agency crap.
We "need" to kick Flozell Adams in the nuts everytime he gets a false start.
We "need" to kick Gurode in the nuts everytime he snaps the ball before Romo is ready.
We "need" to learn how to run the ball more effectively with three very talented backs.
We as fans "need" to learn how hard this game can be and quit blaming a kid in his second starting season because his line sucks and his recievers have issues with routes and actually catching the ball. How many playoff games did Peyton Manning lose again?

1: Get Roy Williams into top shape and get him the coaching he needs.

2: Upgrade the safety position

3: Bigger Nost Tackle would be lovely

4: Find a player who can push Flozell for that LT spot.

He is another year older and had a poor year.

5: Back up QB. We have nada behind Romo.

6: Get Jason Garrett some tutors.

He has the ability to grow into a better play caller. Letting him learn from other coaches at some Coach clinics would only help him.

Having TO run off 2 defenders, and then throwing it to Witten, or checking down to Barber on every pass play has to stop. We need more 3 step drop and get rid of the ball plays.

7: Find some more Assistant Coaches with a Butt kickers mentality.

Im convinced that in Dallas the head coach has to be an authority figure who is hard on his team.

Landry and Jimmy built success here with this franchise and got all the media hype in the world. These type of coaches seem to keep players more focused the the Wade Phillips of the World.

I like Wade.

I think he is a good coach. He would even do a solid job head coaching at other places. But with all the drama that comes with ANY Dallas Cowboys team that has success I believe you need a disciplinarian type coach at all times.

I hope Wade finds success because his defensive scheme is exactly what this team needs.
