RIP

Makes me sad when i think about how far humanity could have come if only there was more people like him

There are plenty of Armstrongs. There aren't enough space races.

I was laying on the floor in the living room watching the old console TV and was asking my Mom if I can go on the next trip they make to the moon.

RIP Neil Armstrong.

One man who will never be forgotten, and whose words will also live forever.

Interesting that he kept out of the public eye after the moon landings, and dedicated his life to teaching others.

RIP to one of my lifelong heroes, Mr. Neil Armstrong. It has never gotten more amazing to me than that moment you stepped on the moon. I was PROUDLY watching on our b&w TV in our living room, as an almost-8 year old, dreaming of one day following in your footsteps.

It's interesting to think, of the handful of humans who can say they were the first to set foot on a specific place, he holds a distinction that likely will not be eclipsed in most of our lifetimes.

By all accounts, he was a humble man who believed in the people around him. His passing really struck a chord with me. Good bye to one of the true pioneers of our era.
