He was, he had an amazing collection of high $$ sports cars, he was an avid writer and loved to travel between Rush gigs on his own motorcycle instead of plane or usual mode of transportation. When he joined the band he had a huge hand in taking them to the next level.

Not me. I prefer the tribal drumming style by Stephen Perkins. Go watch Jane's Addictions '89 tour & his drumming intensity.

That's cool man. I don't agree but I do like Jane's Addiction, including their drummer. Music taste is very subjective so I make a point to try and not tell people they're wrong. You did the same thing, just giving your opinion so much appreciated.
