Erb and this game sounds like a natural relationship :D
Like to get lost and this game looks great; loved Dragon Age and hope it relates to the same strength, etc.

Got it reserved and cant wait for to pick it up. It looks like at this point at least could be a candidate for game of the year.

Hell yeah I CAN'T WAIT! Seriously The Witcher series is crazy underrated. I beat TW2 numerous times and loved every second of it. The PS4 version looks phenomenal.

I'm just trying to get into Witcher 2 now on the PC. The 3rd person view is a bit disconcerting since I'm not really a gamer and most of what I have played is FPS stuff. I hope to get into it.
Loving this ridiculous gaming laptop though. I never truly gamed until I got this beast and now I am having so much fun... Now I have to used to how to play.

I would definitely recommend Grand Theft Auto 5 on PC. Not a PC gamer myself but know of it's superiority in just about all aspects. I just don't think I'm savvy enough to update manually, or keep up with the latest graphic cards, etc. May I ask, do you use a video game like controller or a gaming mouse, etc.? I wasn't a huge fan of Witcher 2, but heard this game has improved on the combat and quest lines (general direction of where to proceed, etc.).

I have one of those XBox controllers that works with Windows. It works with most of my games except for ones with too many buttons to push like Arma 3.
The PC is pretty awesome for high end graphics if your rig is built well enough. I have a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980m graphic card that should last me a good long while before I have to think about upgrading.
I have a PS4, but the only game I play on that is Destiny and I don't know anyone to go on Raids with me so I just tool around on it and do other stuff.

Yeah the PC version seems ideal for most games all things being equal ,etc. I loved Destiny's gameplay and shooting mechanics but lost me due to lack of story. Mostly a solo gamer so felt slighted that they didn't include a real campaign. But had a blast while playing and would say it has the best FPS gameplay on the next gens.

So what is the Witcher about and what would you compare it to? I may get it for PC, but I'm relatively new to PC gaming

Block gaming sites at work (pulled from Wikipedia)
"Combat revolves around an action role-playing game system combined with the use of magic. The fighting system has been completely revamped.[8]Wild Huntintroduces some new mechanics, such as witcher-sense, combat on horseback, and at sea, swimming underwater, and using a crossbow. Additionally, Geralt can now jump, climb, and vault over smaller obstacles. The climbing mechanics have been described as "not exactly" like Assassin's Creed, but more "similar to what we have in Uncharted."[9] Item creation and potion brewing still remains as in previous games, but has been modified from The Witcher 2..Each action the player does will affect the world; every quest has a plethora of options on how to complete it, and every outcome is different each time. CD Projekt RED anticipates approximately 100 hours for the completion of the game,[10] 50 of them belonging to side quests, and 50 belonging to the main story line."

Specific to the general Witcher plot:

The game is based on the book series of the same name by Polish author Andrzej Sapkowski.[5]The Witcher takes place in amedievalfantasy world and follows the story of Geralt, one of a few remaining "witchers" – traveling monster hunters for hire, gifted with unnatural powers. The game's system of "moral choices" as part of the storyline was noted for its time-delayed consequences and lack of black-and-white morality.
