what the HELL....

they shipped my movie yesterday and said it would get here today, but it never did

I've heard those morons usually take like 2 or 3 days AFTER the day they post on their website to get your movie to you

anyone else have similar problems?

I was all excited that I was going to get to go home and watch Lost: Season 2 finally.... but I guess not

NIGHT = RUINED!!!!

idiots

They cover their butts by saying in almost a day. It's also well know that if you are a frequent "renter" the newer movies will start coming slower and slower. It costs them more money if you return them quicker. If you keep the rental longer it costs them less in shipping.

They lost that law suit and I find it is generally the post offices fault.

I have a lot of instances where I ship 2 movies at a time back; I will get two new ones shipped back according to the web site same day I get one 1 day and the second the next.

Come on we are talking about the US Post off that had a add that went

more better and most best

you live in Dallas. why don't you use blockbuster online when their main distribution center is in McKinney? If I mailed a movie tomorrow, I'll have new movies on Friday, no later than Saturday. That's why I went with them over Netflix. Now, you can return your movies in-store and get your new movies instantly.

I cancelled Netflix about a month ago, but when I did have it, I had NO troubles. I would send in a DVD, and have the next one in my list in 3 to 4 total days. That is pretty damn good.

Netflix can be flakey. If you have a high turn around with movies, they slow down your service (even after the lawsuit). Every now and then they hold a few movies back and what not.

I just read up on Blockbuster

what I like is that you can exchange the movies in-store and get your new movies instantly

that's what's selling me on them

*signs up with Blockbuster*

Good choice. I've had them about 4 months and I love it. I never thought i'd watch as many movies as I have lately. Only negative is new releases are hard to get. you'd have better luck getting them using the free instore rental that they give you once per week. I don't even use the free in-store rental every week because I forget about it most of the time.

Me too. I registered with an email address I rarely check and by the time I see the coupon it's expired.

I've been using blockbuster for free for about 7 months now. Just use their free trial code, use a different credit card, new email addy (yay for Hotmail), and just make up a name. Works perfectly. Now I just need more credit cards...

nah, what you need is to just pay for the membership. C'mon dude, it's $17.99 per month for 3 movies out at a time+free instore rental per week. You're sad. :(

They set up the system not me. It wouldn't be very hard for them to change it. When I can't use it for free any longer, I will then pay for it. But as long as they offer it for free, or make it easy to get free, I'll take them up on their kindness. Besides for reasons I won't go into, I feel Blockbuster owes me. Though not as much as Wallyworld does.
