I am watching too many series at one time instead of binge watching one and moving on to others.

Was wondering if I was the only one who does this.

Right now I am watching various episodes of different Star Trek series (mostly enterprise), finally finished up on Daredevil season two, Few episodes into Marco Polo and enjoying it although I am getting somewhat confused on some of the characters and how they fit into the story right now, started to watch some of season three of Hemlock Grove (someone had the first two seasons on a CD I watched a year or two back) and frankly I forgot how cheesy it was/is, wanted a show that was in the half hour range so rewatched some of the idiot abroad series for a laugh and watched a couple episodes of WolfBlood which is a little too kiddy/tweener for me but it is ok for something in the background noise, did finish up last season of trailer park boys, and I still have a few series in my list that I have yet to start...like the second season of Dusk till dawn, the last season of Longmire and I want to watch Quantum leap which for some odd reason I have only seen a few episodes of...I did like the ones I watched back in the day but just never kept up with it. Also have been told Happy Valley and death in paradise are decent shows so they are on my list.

That does not even include the movies I have watched or are on my list.

I think part of my problem is that I tend to get sleepy (possibly due to allergy meds) in the evening after work so I will start watching a show and half fall asleep lol.

I tend to have a few different series I'm watching. Mainly due to which ones the wife watches with me. For example, she has no interest in Marco Polo, but is watching Daredevil with me. So, I try to fit my shows in when I can. Archer is my 20-30 minute filler show of choice for now.

I start getting that problem too, but when I do that. I end up never finishing them.

I didn't finish, Mad Men, season 3 of House of Cards, Jessica Jones, etc.

Right now, I'm trying to keep it to two. Enterprise and Hell on Wheels. (depending on my mood at the time) Then I watch Anthony Bourdain shows when I expect I will fall asleep in my recliner during the show. (it's not important if I miss any of those hah)

Season 3 of House of Cards sucked. Season 4 was awesome though.

We watch GoT every time it airs; started watching Band of Brothers a few months ago but stopped after episode 3, just got bored I guess; only watched the first episode of Big Love a month ago; first few episodes only of that Newsroom show 18 months ago; been watching Californication at pretty much rapid speed lately, it's not amazing but it's fun and easy; and a few other shows we started and either stopped or haven't finished.

My problem is slightly different. I've been playing Star Wars Battlefront online pretty hard the past month or so but it doesn't stop me from recording stuff like Underground. Shows are just sitting there on my DVR, some of them are entire seasons' worth, not watched because I waste most of my free time trying to destroy AT-ATs. :p

I had a whole season of a few SyFy shows on DVR. Only finished one season of Dark Matter and deleted the other series (kill joys and the expanse). Now I noticed that Dark matter is starting back up again. These SyFy shows I give them a 2-3 episode chance to see if I like any, most of them I do not. I did like dark matters though...reminded me a little of Fire fly but nowhere as good.

Marco Polo is amazing.

The first season was good but the 2nd went to another level.

Im looking for another show right now.

I enjoy Medieval shows like Marco Polo, Vikings, GOT, Spartacus.. I need some new shows.

Peeky Blinders is a pretty good show on NETFLIX.

Did you watch The Tudors? That show was pretty good though I didn't get through an entire season before I stopped watching it. That's pretty common with me though.

I actually started watching it last night and I didn't make it through the first episode before it bored me.

There is a show called the LAst Kingdom that I think I may try to watch next.

Peeky Blinders is great!

Have you seen The Pillars of the Earth? Ian McShane is in it. Been awhile since I've watched it, but it kept me interested enough to finish it.

I do a pretty good job of starting a series and finishing that series before moving on to another. Right now, I'm pretty into The Americans.

Good to know, I gave up after Season 3. What happened to my lovable sociopathic Francis??? His character was cold, calculating, one step ahead, etc. and that all seemed to go away in season 3; getting schooled left and right. Definitely will check out season 4 now. Thanks
