Caller to Talkin Cowboys raised the question of whether Fox would move more of Cowboy games from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM (EST) to take advantage of Cowboys ability to draw huge ratings. Take this for what it's worth but Spagnola said the networks are aware of the Cowboys huge drawing power and expects the Cowboy-Commander game to become 2nd game of their double header so it can be shown nationally. Also believes it possible same could happen to the Cowboy-Detroit game if Detroit continues to play reasonable well. Now our game against the Giants is already scheduled to be the 2nd game of a double header.

Just wanted to mention above info in case some of you planning on attending Skins game in Dallas from out of town or the game in Detroit.

BTW: Don't have figures in front of me but Cowboys-Vikes game outdrew the baseball playoff game opposite them, the Pittsburgh-Broncos game & any other show opposite them.

I already decided I probably wont need sunday ticket this year. I think the only game I would have had to use it this year is the rams game and I am in NC. I can go somewhere once or twice a year to watch a game instead of paying for sunday ticket.

I dropped ST too. In Green Bay the Cowboys have not been on TV here twice - Miami and St. Louis. Just watched on SOPCAST on those two occasions. Guess I'll have to wait until the Cowboys suck again to get ST.:D

We get all of em' here in the Memphis area!!!

No ST needed!

What pisses me off is when they play the Giants on Nov. 11th @ Meadowlands, I will be in freakin Dallas!!! :bang2: :yousuck: :angryno: :grrr: :explode:

I am surrounded by 3 teams in Florida, and only one of those in the NFC. Even with the Cowboys playing in the "national" package the great majority of the time, periodically I will miss them without the Ticket. So....I pay up.

OMG - I love NFL TICKET.

There is not a year that passes where I do not light my candles and say a solemn thank you to DirectTV for the best subscription package ever.

 Thank you NFL Ticket !!

Networks have known this for a long time. Some years back an executive with then ABC MNF was asked about the rating being down he said they were a bit down but they still had 2 Cowboy games on the schedule and that would boost the overall ratings back up. Networks love it when the Cowboys are winning games.
