After Bennett extended a Rams drive with the old Neutral Zone Infraction, I noticed virtually every play after that he still lined up in the neutral zone. He jumped back many times, but he could have been called on many others. What is his deal? We do not need that idiot type of play when we get in the playoffs.

He plays in Dallas now,,, those things get called here. Honestly, enforcement of the "lined up in the neutral zone" is one of the most inconsistent calls that gets made. Watch a days worth of football and you'll see this happen over and over again,,, sometimes called, many times not.

I think fatigue has alot to do with it. Bennett looks long in tooth and Dallas is asking him to play significant snaps. I think he just wants one less step to take to QB.

I actually noticed it even before he got called for it.

It probably gets called more due to his reputation. I saw DLAW lined up offsides few plays later and he didn't get called.

At least after the second one, he started moving back to make sure he didn't get in the neutral zone. I don't know if he's just trying to get an edge or if he's just bad at judging the ball. Either way, shifting back a little from where he thinks he should line up should be drummed into him for the next couple of weeks.

This is plane stupid!!! There is no excuse!! During today’s telecast it said he had been called for encroachment 6 or 8 times this year.

Fox cameras captured Jason Garrett giving some one-on-one coaching to Bennett after
the last infraction, telling him to maybe back up a little when he lines up.

I thought it was hilarious.

It isnt gonna stop and it is probably gonna cost us big moving forward and the Pat's will be laughing when it happens.

You know how some people used to drive leaning on the center console so they could line up the hood ornament with the center of the lane? It's alot like that.
