Not a pleasant way to lose, that's for sure. While I was not happy with Brotzman, he has been clutch in the past, this game should have been that close to begin with. Props to Nevada, they shut BSU down in the second half.

+1. I don't like to blame it all on the kicker. First of all, this is amateur sports (Cam Newton notwithstanding) played by young men who barely qualify for adulthood. Second of all, it ain't the kicker's fault Boise State didn't score in the 3rd quarter (punt punt punt) and lost a 24-7 lead. BSU had all the chances to put away Nevada in the 3rd, but couldn't seal the deal.
