Speaking of DC, I was there yesterday. I must say the Dulles airport design team should be beaten and stabbed. They tote people around in these funky buses on the tarmack. Not only that, these buses cross paths with jets and I'm not just talking about passing behind them while they're at the gate. They get out on the taxi way. Our plane physically had to stop so one of these buses could cross. :laugh2:

Take a look at these dumb looking buses... What is with the two big horns sticking out of the top?!?!?!

As you can see it was raining and I was on a puddle jumper (turbo prop) flying from Washington Dulles to White Plains.

Dulles is the absolute worst airport in the world!! Be happy you were just connecting there!

1. Do not knock Dulles Airport!! Still one of the most efficient Airports in the world. If you don't want to ride the bus take the underground tunnel!

2. The fins are for aero-dynamics to help the buses from tipping over because of the height.
