It is weird as a Cowboys fan with so much riding on the Giants game. I really don't know how to feel. In pass years I would be worried, scared, nervous, etc... I guess deep down I know this isn't a playoff team.

You're hopeful but guarded because you don't want to get too excited and get let down? At least that's how I feel. I hope and wish for the Cowboys to win, but I have doubts that they can do it.

I guess I'm in the same boat.

I think it has more to due with the fact that its been a long long time since I've had this little confidence that the Cowboys have the opportunity to do anything in the playoffs IF they do make it.

The 49ers victory gives me hope -- but its basically the only thing I can hang my hat on for the season.

I'm with ya. And I'm a sunshine pumping fool. :D I just don't know even after our showing vs. the Iggles. Yeah I know Stephen McGee came in to play, and at the beginning, I was thrilled. After the game I wondered if Kitna was even available to go. Why was Kitna benched? Ailment? Injury? Benched over McGee?

Does not matter now. As long as Romo gets some kind of protection, we have a chance. And I mean that. I hope we win, but I will not guarantee it.

Kitna is on IR I believe

Packers lost 1 game and you jumped off the wagon?

Let's not kid ourselves; it's going to be a tall order to win this game.

That said, two things in our favor, IMO:

1) The Giants are at least as inconsistent as we are, if not more so. This isn't like the 2008 game against the Eagles where we were playing against a hot team down the stretch. There's no telling what Giants team will show up Sunday Night...unfortunately, there's also no telling what Cowboys team will show up, either.

2) The Giants haven't been great in the new stadium, so I don't think the home field advantage is going to be as great as what it could be. Let's put it this way: if I had to play a divisional game on the road to the win the East, I'd pick Metlife Stadium before I pick Fed Ex Field or the Linc.

We're not the favorites, nor should we be. But I give us better than a puncher's chance at beating the Giants Sunday.

If we can do that and win a home playoff game, I would rate this season a success.

I feel the same way. 100 %

Its really weird, because I got Giants fans barkin in my face all day. Maybe we as fans mirror the team. They never seem to get up for these games the past 15 years so neither do we.

Kitna is done. I'm nervous as hell even know. I hate that we have to wait till 7:30 on Sunday instead of playing at noon. Losing on Sunday will put me in a ****ty mood for a long time. That's just the kind of fan I am.

I'll put it the way my brother did earlier in the year, "I'm so used to losing, it doesn't affect me anymore."

I'm going in with no real expectations.

If they lose I'll just shake my head and have that saw that coming feeling. Fool me once shame on you, fool me 15 times shame on me kinda thing ya know?

But if they win I'll be very pleasantly surprised and definitely view this seasonn as a success, even though I think we have just as good of a chance to beat Detroit or Atlanta as we do the Giants. It wouldn't be until we play NO or Gb would our season come to a screeching hault as our secondary would be neutered by the 3rd quarter.

But no one is giving us a chance to beat NY, so I'm starting to think the G-Men are going to buy into it and look past a team that is very capable of hanging 38 points on them, excuse me, a quarterback capable of hanging 38 points on them.

We've been here before. Think back a few years ago, final regular season game against the Eagles. We beat them, then trounced them the next week in the Wildcard round.

Look on the bright side. If we do lose, we'll probably be third in the division and get the 12th pick in the draft. Does that help? :)

There is no brightside to losing.

Same here...it hasn't hit me yet, but i will be an emotional roller coaster Sunday.

Trying not to get my hopes up, and i hope Rob has this D fired up, but you never know. They could come out hot or let the giants go up 1 score and completely self destruct, it is never in between with this team.

Does it seem of late every teams 1st drive against the Cowboys results in a score or at least the opportunity.
