That was opi, ref and that camera angle are horrible to see it very well though.

There was enough going on both ways, but at least Carr was looking for the ball. I agree that OPI is the better call there.

But I don't have a huge problem with that play because that catch was insane. I can look the other way on it since we won the game.

There are plenty of examples of Carr getting burned, though. This is not a very good one.

It was more than that though. Carr had the position, he had become the wr. Then OBJ threw his shoulder and elbow into Carr to jump in front. Carr's momentum was then taking himself out of the play and he made a last grasp at OBJ which is what the ref called him on. I call that a lame bs call.

Oh, I see it. 9 times out of 10, though, the DB isn't getting that call. Especially with the catch on the other end and with where the ref is positioned there. That's probably explicitly why OBJ is pulling so much: he can get away with it.

very possible, but even if both Jenkins and the safety bit, I'd still say he gets more blame for that play than credit for a pick 6.

He's got coverage to a point then he trades off. You can see at the edge of the screen a player running toward then past them. That's the safety. Far more likely he's supposed to take Dez deep than a CB is assigned to run with him 50+ yards

Their was a play last year @ the Gents the Gents where backed up on their own 10 Eli throws a bomb and the WR caught it for the big play that was Carr covering I was so pissed

Fast forward to 2:20 that's better depiction of Carr

His point??

He's still a very good CB, and that BS won't work on him every time.

I was eyeballing what they were going to do but they let the right corner (Jenkins over Johnson) go to FA, etc. Okay with that pass, but would have liked to see Williams or Ayers signed to those deals.

Let's be real, Dez does it all the time...as do all good Wrs; it's just a matter of how well they can hide it, etc. It would be dumb not to with all the calls going to Wrs as your point above states.

Not for that salary in FA era but don't fault Carr in this situation, more the team for not cutting bait last season when they had the chance; they didn't restructure last season either to allow them to cut him this season too. The draft and maybe even TC will determine if he stays on @ that 9M (13M cap hit).

Actually he's the kind of player where it will.

Good corner but inconsistent. This isn't Byron Maxwell stupid-level of a signing; but none the less it's nothing to fear.

Amukamura was better.

Who cares? We gave more than that to a WR who disappears for entire games.
