Allar had worse receivers than Dak did that year when they were forced to trade for Cooper. The WR room at PSU is just abysmal and won't get better any time soon until they hire a guy with a pulse to coach that position. For as well as they do developing TE and OL on that side of the ball, it's a black hole at WR. The PSU WRs combined to catch 0 passes for -3 yards in the playoff semifinal against ND. You read that correctly.

If Allar improves his accuracy and handling of pressure, he'll be a top 10 pick. He has an arm and size that scouts would create in the lab. If he doesn't, he's likely another Christian Hackenberg that won't pan out. Heaven help him if he's drafted by the Jets. That's where QBs go to die a horrible death (along with Cleveland).

Someone has to explain to me the Drew Allar hype. I don't get it.

Has us taking Tyson, WR from ASU. Depending on how our RBs do, you could persuade me on Love but I am still not a fan of RBs in round 1. There are some CBs there to appease Risen too.
