I recently (2-10-07) placed an order on line at www.1800Flowers.com

I paid almost $20 extra for "guaranteed" delivery on Valentines day.

The **** wasn't delivered.

I sent them an Email, where they advise they will answer all inquiries "promptly". Over 6 hours later, no response.

I've been calling them all morning and afternoon... I get an automated voice asking for my order confirmation number. I give it, and they say to hold on as they will put me in touch with the next available representative.

I stay on hold for about 30 seconds, and a voice comes on saying my call can not be completed at this time and I should try back later.

I will never use 1-800-Flowers again, and I advise that you don't as well.

demand all your money back, its false advertisment which could lead to suing but eghh doubt its worth the money

I pick them from my neighbors yard when no one is looking. :D

But isn't your wife getting tired of a dozen dandelions every year?

I used them this year, ordered Roses and Calla Lilys but I was only charged $3 extra for Valentines Day delivery. Probably helped that I ordered it in late January.

Those stupid flowers didn't show up until almost 5 pm and they were missing the Calla Lilys, needless to say I'm not thrilled with them either.

My order was supposed to be delivered today...no dice so far.

Thats ok I'm still looking for the fed ex guy with my overnighted 5lb lobster from Maine. Its a conspiracy against Cowboys fans

Glad I didn't order flowers this year. My Mom doesn't care that much for them.

Ouch...I've used 1-800-flowers for about five years now...never had a problem. I even ordered them as late as the day before and my wife got them on time.

I tried Pro Flowers this year in advance to get one of their deals...two dozen roses (pink and red) for the price on one, or some such...no dice...sold out well in advance.

Maybe it is a regional thing...I'm here in Plano, Tx. And after all, all these are is a middle man that takes orders for the real florist that's in the neighorborhood.

Maybe that particular florist was way over booked?
