Why would Jerry let him come here if he wants some level of control? Jerry's not trying to build a stadium so why would he be "uncomfortable" ceding anything to BB? He flat out stated that the Parcells years weren't as fun for him. BB would produce the same thing for him.

Why the concern with his age.........he will likely bring with him young offensive and defensive coordinators. Say what you want but man knows defenses. IMO he's the defensive version of Andy Reid and Kyle Shanahan.....all three are HOFers

Because it will be a short term situation. If he is 73 heading in to next season he probably won't coach the initial 5 years. There's a lot that needs fixing and little time in that case. I'd like to see what he can do with the D also and possibly get real play out of the D line for a change, but it's still a tall order.

It wasn't just Brady. They lost Gronk. They lost Amendola. They lost Edelman. They lost some OL. They lost 3 or 4 marquee defenders via FA as well. It was a mass exodus over 2 seasons that gutted the team. Then Belichick stepped down.

The first thing this team needs is discipline. The second thing is a HC who understands which players are worth the money. The third is someone who won't allow Jerry to be a distraction or an enabler.

I don't think even Bill could accomplish that task, but it's worth a shot.

I don’t see BB coming here. If he does I don’t think he would be successful especially with the current roster. Jerry would have to give BB full control. I don’t think Jerry is ever going to do that. Zimmer is the next head coach of the Cowboys.
